Leadership Africa USA’s mission is to provide Africa’s youth critical leadership skills to face unprecedented challenges as they are called to build post-conflict societies.

Leadership Africa USA is a program that empowers African youth through leadership.   The focus is on helping African youth, especially young girls emerge as future leaders of Africa.  At the heart of Leadership Africa USA’s development agenda is a commitment to cultivation and transformation of youth by choosing to accept responsibility.

Leadership Africa USA’s mandate is to develop a new generation of leaders throughout the African continent through democracy, establish good governance, poverty eradication, capacity building, sustainable peace and security. 

Leadership Africa USA works with African youth to achieve our programmatic objective through leadership training, the development of leadership curricula, leadership essay competitions, leadership workshops and forums, student and teacher exchanges, videoconferences, and scholarships.  Leadership Africa USA works with local partners to achieve sustainability, to disseminate our leadership curricula through publications, local media and our website.
